By traditional surveys, I refer to paper-and-pencil and telephone surveys. If you have a ready to use survey, that is fine with me. But if you are at the draft stage, it would be useful for me to review the survey in terms of how questions are asked. I might suggest a different format (for example, converting a categorical to a scaled question), and I can point out any possible bias in question wording. If you only have some ideas about what you want to ask, we can talk a while, then I can create a first-draft survey which we can edit to your satisfaction. If you have finished fielding the survey and have a data file ready to go, I can convert almost all types into something SPSS can read. If you have not yet done data entry, please consult with me because some formats take longer to convert than others. If you have not yet fielded the survey, although I do not maintain a staff of interviewers, I can refer you to one of two companies which a long-term client of my uses (and with which I have no relationship). But maybe you have a few trustworthy staff or friends who I can train (under 1 hour usually) to properly administer the survey in person or over the telephone. Typical work product depends on whether you want tables from WinCross or SPSS. Sample output can be accessed from my Tables page. I prefer WinCross, because it produces a file (*.rtf) which can be opened in any word processor, and significant relationships are noted in each table. SPSS produces presentation-quality tables, but you need a viewer to open and print them. I will provide a copy of the viewer (Windows only), free of charge, to use for the project. With SPSS, I would conduct analyses of significant interactions, and produce either a bullet-type memorandum listing the significant interactions or a full narrative report.
